The enclosure features an FEA-flared port design which significantly reduces air noise and distortion, resulting in accurate and punchy bass.
The cabinet is constructed from 18 mm birch plywood with optimised bracing, which not only enhances durability but also improves the acoustic response by reducing internal resonances. A tough Duraflex coating ensures the subwoofer can withstand frequent transport and professional use.
Comprehensive DSP and Wireless Control
The PRX915XLF includes an extensive onboard DSP suite that can be managed via the integrated colour LCD screen or the JBL Pro Connect app. The processing tools include a 6-band parametric EQ, a selectable low-pass filter (80 Hz, 100 Hz, or 120 Hz), and up to 20 ms of alignment delay. For time-aligned systems, the DriveRack technology also provides a system limiter and automatic feedback suppression.
The JBL Pro Connect app allows for wireless Bluetooth control of up to 10 speakers, enabling users to adjust levels and DSP settings from anywhere in the venue. This ecosystem integrates seamlessly with other JBL professional series such as EON700 and PRX ONE.

The rear panel is equipped with two XLR balanced combo jacks and two XLR pass-through outputs, allowing for easy daisy-chaining to full-range speakers or additional subwoofers.
