The Focal 300 ICW8 is the largest model in the 300 Series line, specifically engineered to deliver high fidelity sound for both stereo music and home cinema applications. It features a 2 way coaxial design and is praised for its ability to blend seamlessly into walls and ceilings while providing a natural and precise audio reproduction.
Signature Materials and Acoustic Engineering
At the heart of the 300 ICW8 is an 8 inch woofer utilising Focals exclusive Flax technology. These cones are made from high quality flax fibre sandwiched between two thin layers of glass fibre, resulting in a structure that is both rigid and incredibly light. This technology produces a sound that is remarkably neutral and defined, similar to the performance found in the high end Utopia and Sopra ranges.
The high frequencies are handled by a 1 inch aluminium and magnesium alloy inverted dome tweeter.
