Denon AVC-X3900H: 9.4-Channel 8K AV Amplifier

The Denon AVC-X3900H is a premium 9.4-channel home cinema amplifier designed for high-performance residential theatres, media rooms, and distributed multi-zone entertainment systems. Engineered with discrete high-current amplification delivering 105 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 11.4-channel processing capability, advanced 8K HDMI connectivity, and Dirac Live expandability, it provides the core processing power and flexibility required for modern immersive cinema setups.

Immersive Audio Decoding and Multi-Subwoofer Bass Management

The AVC-X3900H supports an expansive array of 3D audio formats out of the box, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced, and Auro-3D. With 11.4 channels of pre-amplifier processing built into the platform, users can expand the system to a full 7.4.4 surround configuration by adding an external two-channel power amplifier. A dedicated Pre-Amplifier Mode disconnects the internal power stages to deliver a cleaner signal path when utilizing external multi-channel power amplifiers.

A standout engineering feature of the platform is its four independent subwoofer outputs. The advanced digital signal processor allows discrete calibration and equalization for up to four individual subwoofers, distributing low-frequency energy evenly throughout the room to eliminate acoustic nodes and standing waves. Room correction is powered by standard Audyssey MultEQ XT32, with optional upgrade support for Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control.

Advanced 8K HDMI Processing and Multi-Zone Networking

Video connectivity is handled via six HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs, with dedicated 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz pass-through support across the inputs. The HDMI board supports HDCP 2.3, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dynamic HDR, and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) alongside variable refresh rate (VRR), quick frame transport (QFT), and auto low latency mode (ALLM) for tear-free gaming integration.

For networked audio and streaming, the unit incorporates the HEOS Built-in wireless platform, enabling seamless playback from Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music HD, and local network shares across compatible HEOS devices throughout a property. It also features Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth transmission for wireless headphones, and integration capabilities with major third-party smart home control platforms.
