Australian Monitor FLEX50: Two-Way 50W Commercial Wall-Mount Speakers

The Australian Monitor FLEX50 is a versatile and high-performance two-way loudspeaker designed specifically for professional commercial audio installations. Part of the Flex Series, these speakers are engineered for both indoor and outdoor applications, making them an ideal choice for classrooms, restaurants, gymnasiums, and beer gardens. They are sold in pairs and are available in both black (FLEX50B) and white (FLEX50W) finishes to match various architectural aesthetics.

Durable Design and Weather Resistance

Designed to withstand the elements, the FLEX50 features a robust IP65 rating, ensuring it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets. The enclosure is complemented by a powder-coated aluminium grille and stainless steel fasteners, preventing corrosion in outdoor or coastal environments. This durability is paired with a contemporary design that remains discreet when mounted.

Installation is made simple with the included smart pan and tilt bracketing system. This mounting hardware allows for precise positioning on both walls and ceilings, providing installers with the flexibility to direct sound coverage exactly where it is needed. The brackets are also powder-coated to match the speaker cabinet for a uniform appearance.

Flexible Audio Integration

The FLEX50 is a highly flexible audio solution, offering both 100V and 70V high-impedance line tappings as well as a low-impedance 8-ohm bypass option. This allows the speaker to be used in large-scale distributed systems or with standard low-impedance amplifiers. Users can easily select the desired power tap using a screwdriver-adjustable switch on the rear panel.

Each unit features a 6.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter, delivering a wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. With a high sensitivity of 90 dB and a maximum SPL of 113 dB, the FLEX50 provides clear speech intelligibility and high-quality background music reproduction even in larger spaces.
